Set your air con at 24°C–26°C in summer, or 19°C–21°C in winter, and you’ll save around $80–$150 a year compared to “crank it” mode.

Quick Wins:

Use “eco” or “energy saver” mode—modern units do the thinking for you.
Keep doors and windows shut for max efficiency.
Clean your filters at the start of every season (dirty filters can bump up running costs by 5–10%).
